I just buy seals for applications, so can't help you on the Honda numbers.

But, the seal you want is 14 x 26 x 7. You'll probably get 14 x 26 x 6 easier and it will work just as well.

I buy all my seals at the bearing shop.

can someone please confirm the right part # for a 1981 cx500 D?
if 91251-ZW5-003 (14x26x6) replaced the previous 91203-023-020 (14x26x7) don't you want the replacement one? or does it not make a huge difference?
just want to make sure bc CXPHREAK is saying the 14x26x7 is what you want.

This is what I use in the bikes I work on and in the kits I supply to the Oz forum.

Other than the output shaft seal I don't use Honda seals.

I found a 14x26x7 from avxseals.com $3.92 shipped to my door. I'll follow up if it is not decent. I can buy the Honda one about $1 cheaper "locally" but it is a 60 mile round trip to a town a rarely have any other reason to be in. Hopefully that helps someone looking to source one without paying a ridiculous amount for shipping.

When you need seal sizes or bolt sizes it is easy to find them - just go to Partzilla and look at their parts schematics like this one....only trick is to determine which parts grouping to look in......:

The shifter seal is in the rear cover schematic, part #7. Look at the parts list and you will see the various acceptable seal sizes.
