They are the same location. I have a set of your SilverWing rear sets on one of my Gl 650's.

Have some folks asking if they fit the 650. I didn't know if they would or not. Have never had my hands on the 650.

 

The only difference is that the 650 has larger backbone tubes and there are gussets at the rear where the seat tubes meet the down tubes in front of the rear wheel.
