ok so i now own 2 bikes yeah! my awesome cx500d just raked (wheel displaced 5 inches forward) not a big rake but it made it look so much cooler.

so i now own a 78 Yamaha 250 enduro (dirt bike) 90 bucks. so the guy told me it wouldnt run for him, but i had a few tests i could check if it was really dead or not.

i took the cap off the spark, i do feel a jolt but not strong. certainly not enough to jump any plug gap. so, i did some research and these bikes had a point system where it would have build up a charge through a few kicks to create a voltage build up, so my question is. is it the condenser or the coil? i am feeling the charge get shockier* as i kick it over a few times. but still not enough.

any one have experience with kick start? i sure dont.

Could be either, but without testing them it is an unknown. Check with these boys down under Yamahait good blokes with lots of help for all. Been a great help for me.

Good luck.
