I recently purchased an alley abandoned cx500. Now I've ridden and love it. Just to find out that Washington law has changed and I cannot get a title unless the bike is towed and sold at auction. So I am looking to buy a different frame and swap it over. Thank you

Update: still on the lookout for a frame

I'm okay paying 50 or 60 for shipping. Do you feel inclined to ask your local ups how much to ship to central washington?

Due to its size, might be considered freight.
I can sell the frame dirt cheap, and you will definitely want to paint or powder coat it.
I'll see how much it weighs and get back to you.

The one that was just shipped here freight was 40 pounds. I would love to get this bike legal so I don't need a trip permit every time I want to ride it.

Don't rule out the Greyhound Bus Shipping, I've shipped frames with them before. All the details are online, but $60 sounds about right, maybe even less.

I had a hardtailed BSA frame shipped from Florida to VA earlier this year by greyhound for a mid $70 figure, easy & painless.
