Saw that one a couple of days ago. These seem to be one of the few bikes that has appreciated in value since new (well, discounting inflation. . . wonder what $4800 in '82-83 dollars compares to today?).
BOOST: re. your recent acquisition: gotta respect someone who can keep a bike for nearly 30 years and not ride it, but then again, I was the kid that took all my GI Joes and Star Wars figures out and played with them. Seemed to defeat the purpose to leave them in the package.
