Its not "showroom perfect" but it is pretty darn nice! At least the seller showed detailed photos of some of the minor imperfections.

I'm always scared of California bikes....

Saw that one a couple of days ago. These seem to be one of the few bikes that has appreciated in value since new (well, discounting inflation. . . wonder what $4800 in '82-83 dollars compares to today?).



BOOST: re. your recent acquisition: gotta respect someone who can keep a bike for nearly 30 years and not ride it, but then again, I was the kid that took all my GI Joes and Star Wars figures out and played with them. Seemed to defeat the purpose to leave them in the package.
