Looking for a new windshield anywheres from 17"-18" tall. I know I can trim

a tall one down by cutting the bottom and extending the slots, but would rather

get a new one without doing that.



Anybody?

There is always a vendor or two on Ebay with a $100. or so replacement shield. Some have made their own. The factory windshield has a slightly concave profile of about 3/8" in the exposed 16" when viewed from the side. Not sure how this affects wind flow compared to an aftermarket or homemade shield.

You can look at wind screens for the GL1100 goldwing also. It is the same fairing and you will most likely find a greater selection. Even JC Whitney has them for it.

The windshields from Dennis Kirk comes in at least two heights and are thicker that the stock windshield to boot. I am very happy with the one I have.

Thanx for the advice. I could not find any short windshields so I got a 20"

off fleabay. I'll mess around with the old one to see what I can do.
