Honda OEM is looking like $44/each for brand new floats. Anyone have a line on an aftermarket source?

The VBFT2s? I just stumbled upon them. What was wrong with them? I'm interested in knowing if a CB float might just work in our application... they are plentiful!

the ones you listed will not work on any CX500 carb. The shape is all wrong. I tried a set but no go. Sent them back.

Wow, yeah, way different.



I'm going to pull the carbs back apart and do some more inspection before I just start throwing money at it. I'll make sure my overflow tubes aren't having any problems, and inspect the floats first to make sure they aren't leaky and sinking.

The floats rarely give a problem even at these ages.
