So, where do I go to buy a cam chain now?



Is my only option to buy a $100 Honda one?



I can't find them on FleaBay any more, or anywhere else anymore.

I guess due to what happened in Japan some parts turned incredibly hard to find. Larry had to pay double for 3 pairs of ACV for carbs by the same vendor he was getting them from earlier at a cheaper rate.

Well, that sucks.



I have my motor out to do the cam chain.

So I pulled my carbs down to do the Larry treatment.

Found my ACV's are Shot.



Need that first paycheck Soon. lol.

Larry had to pay double for 3 pairs of ACV for carbs by the same vendor he was getting them from earlier at a cheaper rate.

Whilst waiting for the paycheck you can bypass the ACVs with small rubber circle.One of my CX has been running years like this with no problems

I have a cam chain I removed just because I was in there, It has more than 1/2 of its life left. If you are interested PM me and I could send some photos of the chain in place and you can judge the position of the adjuster yourself.

How much was George selling them for when he had them? His were an OEM replacement (aftermarket) correct?

I think the price changed a few times in the last year but a year ago I bought one for $80 I think. And last I checked they were $87.



They aren't honda but of good quality.
