What is this bolt for? It is the shiny bolt with the acorn nut in the center of the picture. It is on the rear axel assembly on the right side of the bike. I can find nothing describing it in the Honda factory manual. It appears that it could possibly have been a lower connection for the right side rear shock although I see nothing similar on the left side of the bike. If it is not necessary I would like to eliminate it to make fabrication of a trailer hitch easier. As it is, it will be in the way. Thanks BillRod

Thanks for the information. I guess I can do without it. I will have to call and see if Amsoil makes a synthetic blinker fluid as I don't want to do anything half assed. LOL

Well I am also Swedish, on my mothers side (although my Dad was all of the above) so I should not have any problems with that bolt. Thanks for all the information - and laughs. BillRod
