I was going to put the rear cover back on my motor tonight, but I had to replace the mechanical seal first. Once the mechanical seal was out, I noticed there is a black rubber seal behind the mechanical seal. What part number is this? Can these still be purchased? Mine is in bad shape.

You should replace it, and all the other oil seals if you have the engine apart.

All the oil seals (except the tach cable seal) are still available and common automotive type oil seals. If you check on any of the Honda OEM parts sites (discounthondaparts etc.) you will see them listed, including the size.

I saved a few bucks by getting them all from a bearing supply house when I had my engine apart. I don't recall offhand what size that one is, but as I said, you really should replace them all if you've got it apart.
