Need to see what type of bars you have... Pulling the header pipes aren't usually that hard, just take the nuts off the front of the heads, loosen the 2 nuts on the H-box, and take a dead blow hammer and smack the head pipe, and it should come off. You can use any non-metal hammer without damaging it at all.
Tip:Taking care and an angle grinder(Or hack saw)+Safety glasses etc I cut slots in my Engine bars bolt holes.This allows me to slide them on and off easy and they still function in an accident<tested>
