I've been photographing (photocopying) some Hondatory literature. This is a page from their publication about basic electricity. I personally think the lower illustration is one of the funniest use of water as an analogy to electricity I've ever seen.
according to the plumber, Your Bike is a friggen toilet

It actually does make sense when studied closely... I just hope no one is charging their batteries with a garden hose

PS Eventually the whole document will be avail thru goog docs.... round tuit etc.

I have heard an electricity to water analogy before

Volts is = to psi or pressure.

Amps is = to gal per min.

ohms is = to the amount of restriction, such as a valve in the line.

I have to admit, I got a bit flushed when I read that. Funny how the two follow the same natural path. They forgot the drain though, which would in essence be the tires in motion.

The water analogy has been taught for eons. In basic electronics it applies and it's easier for most to understand.

Cool, just got my original Honda OEM oil drain bolt and washer from TAS.

M12 x 1.5 x 15mm with a lightly shouldered head. Not much different than the auto parts replacement I picked up out of the Help! section sometime back but $3.99/free ship for factory cadmium plating is my idea of correct.
