There have been a few of those that have popped up here and there. Wonder if this guy picked it up at a garage sale and then flipped it the same day - ha!



The last sentence of the craigslist listing states "Bike similar to pictures." So the bike we're seeing isn't the actual bike...

It looks more as if the seller reconsidered selling it on CraigsList and wanted a wider audience on Ebay. But now I see that the auction itself has been pulled, with no bids! That bike may have issues but looks a whole lot better than a parts bike, and the parts alone are worth much more than 1.5K. It will be a real shame if the bike gets parted out, but the fact is the fuel pump, fairing, side panels, brakes, computer, turbo unit, wheels, gas cap with key, fork assembly, etc. are worth more than $1,500. I wonder how many 650Ts are left. A few hundred?

The eBay seller stated in the auction that he had just acquired it. This same seller also had some auctions up for 500T parts that all sudden ended without bids. Maybe he got an offer outside of eBay or something...

I guess so. I can't imagine what that offer would be, he should have started the bidding at $1,000 with no "buy it now" or reserve, and seen what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if had topped $2K, if the bike was in running condition with a bad turbo and a good spare as described.
