Winter is starting to draw near..... So i have made up a list of parts required for the triple bypass on my trusted stead "Bessie"



If there are any other items i would require, please let me know, as this is my 1st attempt and i don't want to bodge it ....

Dont forget the 2 O rings for the water passage collars 23X2.8) pt no. 94608-50000

Use genuine honda items as other items, when crushed as you do the case up will split the gasket in half

Dont forget gaskets and all the small o rings for oil passage ways. Also remove the front cover and clean the oil pump and sercice the chain there if needed.

and I start looking early, a few of those parts are / will be hard to find especially if you intend to price shop. (as you should)

If you have an original Honda (OEM) stator, consider having it rewound, instead of purchasing, oftentimes ,"suspect" aftermarket stators. Ricks motorsport electrics does an excellent job. fast turnaround, reasonable prices. Sam

pretty spot on keith,how many times have I seen that oil seal from the cam chain adjuster leak just after all this work is done.

I say

*give your carbs a clean while there out

*get the stator rewound- after market ones have been failing in oz or are not correctly rewound to start with

If their versatile and small enough not to turn their nose up at you a good electric motor rewinding shop might be willing to do your stator.
