Here is the deal.....I found a 1979 GS750 for sale. It is currently in several pieces, as the owner was restoring and polishing the whole bike. I am told it is complete and that it has a clean and clear title. The guy is in dire need of money so he will sell super cheap (I'm thinking around $500.00). I don't really have tone of extra cash right now, but I hate to pass up on a good deal. I already have several bikes in the garage that need to be worked on, so I am not real thrilled about bringing in another project. That and the CX should get first dibs on my available time.

True....and I always told myself that if I see another CX for around that same price that I would jump on it. So, maybe I don't want to tie up the funds just in case I see another CX.....hmmm

I agree with your current line of thinking. Sounds like you've got a lot going on. Probably best to pass on this one. Unless you are going to move it to the front of the line, I'd leave it for someone else.
