i have seen two pics here recently with a small windshield bolted or riveted to the plastic maggot cover. is that home made? where can i get one?

If you mean the original,"Visor" type then they are rare in North America,

Even slightly damaged ones can go for a premium in the UK e.g over £30/$45.A pristine one can go for over £50/$75.



I have a couple in varying conditions and even though I'm not using them I'm loathe to part with them just in case I want to refit them for resale.

Eagle Screens Australia and I had a couple conversations. I didn't find this thread when I looked. I posted the pricing and other info on the CX500 customization > Windshield thread

Pricier than a Slipstream off ebay...but really looks good with what other here refer to as the "maggot fairing" (stock fairing on '78 and deluxe models in '78-79.
