Hi guys

i would like to make my throttle a bit more responsive / faster.
i read this quote from Murray’s , is there anyone who can explain me the advantage? thanks

if i am replacing the throttle tube and only using a single cable i use

honda part number 95014-51100 from a earlier cl450 it is a single pull tube and provides a positive stop and takes a lot of the slop out

it works amazing with the mikunis or the kehins

This may help. All are at WOT.

Throttle pull to K is stock keihins.

Right around to M is the mikunis. They have a long pull.

T is where I had the pull at the time using a throttle sleeve I'd modded. I was able to get it to K with a bit more build up of the throttle tube.

While I modded a tube I would expect the tube Murray now supplies to have a similar reduced pull.

If you have keihins Murrays sleeve will give a very short pull.

I installed Murray’s sleeve on my bike(keihins) and it definitely reduces the pull. I did have to hog out the throttle housing a bit which wasn’t difficult.
