On a 1982 GL500I, are both the push and pull cables the same length? Are they the same cable? I want to buy a set

but want to make sure I get the right ones because it is a long way to the shop. Any idea of cost?

I would check the numbers on a parts fiche to see if they are different for the 2 cables. If not, same cable.
