[Waldorf]

Hey Guys, anybody know a good place to buy a new thermostat? I found one on ebay for 26 bucks, but I thought that might be a little expensive. Is there anywhere else?

Just take it out and bring it down to the auto parts store with you. Several have been bought for $10 or so. But I cant find the post since it was on the old forum.

I don't know what the consensus is among all the linked threads, but I'm using one from a '76 Civic. The opening is offset versus centered, but it works just fine. Just very that the overall dimensions are the same and the rating is correct.

I noticed that the "Autozone" brand has the offset, and the Stant is identical to the original with no offset. I went for the offset because of the way the gooseneck on the CX is constructed. I lined up the offset with the top hose outlet, it seems like it'll get a better coolant flow rate than a centered one.
