I like it. I used to own a GZ250 and never thought I would see one converted to trike. I applaud the open mindedness you obviously possess. Looking forward to your progress with the shaft drive conversion.



I do not know of any wire wheel that will fit the GL500, or why anyone would prefer wire wheels. But then I have suffered 2 tube tire blow outs at speed, (on a Moto Guzzi, BTW)... something I would really rather not experience again.

I rode Phil's Old Yeller down in Georgia for a few miles. It was an experience I will never forget! Fun yes, also a bit scary. MGB rear and a GL500 front. Unmodified forks made it a bear to steer, but tons of space in the trunk. I really like the looks, I think the lines flow well. I think now that with beefier forks, more rake and a bit higher gearing (plus some quieter mufflers!) it would have been terrific. I am still in awe of Phil's fabricating skills and imagination.
