I was reading through the forum to see if anyone had any good ideas about how to get the 30 year old stickers off parts. Luckily someone said to use a blowdryer - Oh my Gosh, it worked PERFECTLY! It was very hot on the hands, but with the blowdryer on high/Hot and a good razor blade scraper, I had all of it off in about 20 min. Keep the blowdryer heating the sticker in front of the scraper, and it just peels right up! Now I am going to use Goof Off to get the glue residue off and then get it ready for paint.

Glad to hear that someone had success. Do you think that the decls could have been used over? I am going to try removing them from an old tank to see what kind of success is possible. Don't even know if they are under the clear coat.

At best you could probably get a glue stick and glue them to a piece of paper. You should never reuse decals.
