Testing Sensor guidlines

Hello Folks, I have been doing some serious reading to start to test my P2 sensor due to the Fuel System Light on and the W 0 1 fault. The turbo waste gate is being soaked and I have yet to test the P2 sensor. I dont' have a testing harness and need to know how to go about testing from the back and what cables. I have read the old archives but can't find instruction.

One more question. If the waste gate was in fact stuck, the Turbo led should be maxed out uppon engine start right? or not necessarily?

Rique,

I have made some Turbo Testing Tools, which included a 3-wire harness. It was very simple, and basically it's a wiring extension that connects in between the bike's harness and the sensor, one end has male spade connectors, the other end has female spade connectors. One installed, you can easily use your multi-meter probes to test it with key-on, key-off, and running. Here is a photo-bucket link showing the one I made. Note the color-coding shrink wrap for the red, white and green. http://s870.photobuc...=SensorPic1.jpg
