I'm using a tachometer off of a '71 CB350 on my '81 CX500. Would the readings show differently between the two? Aren't the ratios on all metric bikes (or at least all hondas) the same? Thanks.

Should be the same or pretty dame close. Most metrics I believe are 4:1 but some are 5:1 I believe honda stuck to the first one.
