Rookie question here... I switched out my bars and grips, but now I can't get the throttle cable wrapped around the throttle grip correctly. Does anyone have a picture or instructions on how it is supposed to be wound correctly? I known I am doing it wrong because there is no tension or spring back on the throttle. Help please?

The throttle cable should be pretty straight-forward; is the cable still attached at the carburetor end? I recently put a bar weight on the end of my throttle-side handlebar, and it apparently was pinching the grip just enough to keep it from springing back. Perhaps the new grips are rubbing on the throttle housing?

The cable end should come in to the bottom front of the throttle housing, and hook into the throttle at the front of the grip/housing. Then it should be easy to screw the throttle housing halves together and normal throttle spring-back should be available before the grips go back on.

Regards,

Coop
