Hi, is the support bracket that attached to the frame under the tank on both sides and to the steering column that attached to another bracket that held the vetter fairing needed or can I remove it. Just wondering if it helps support steering column. Thanks

The Vetter fairing bracket only supports the fairing. It's not there in the stock configuration. Same is true of the Hondaline fairing bracket on the Silverwings. It's not there on the non-Interstate.

If looking for stock parts, you should be able to use headlight, mounts, and signals from a Deluxe or pre-'81 Custom. Otherwise, there are a lot of universal-fit parts that would work.
