Hello, I am trying to rebuild a single piston caliper. Overall the condition looks great and the dust cover looks great. The piston seems to be pushed in as far as it can go into the caliper. I have tried using compressed air and it wont budge. Is there some trick to these calipers that I am missing ?

ha! got it. Just wrapped some duct tape on my air nozzle to get a better seal and held on. glad my fingers were not in the way when it finally came out.

I generally use an old master cyl. plus a short hose to get mine out. I find it easier to coax out the pistons without having to worry about them flying across the shop and getting chipped.
