I'm finishing up a triple bypass. I removed my old stator and the six wires coming from the stator. I installed a TI stator. I also removed the the advance pulser coils and the wiring. I now see there is a blue wire in my Ignintech connector that does not have a wire coming from the engine. Is this something I need to worry about?

Not really

You removed the ground wire with the CDI stator and the Ignitech blue wire

just needs to be clamped to another/suitable ground.

Always wondered why they use blue for ground

not say green or brown?

Id have used the green for ground and the blue for kill switch

maybe its a euro thing? dunno

Any issues grounding to the battery?

Wouldnt have thought so but you could put an eyelet terminal on it and

double it up with the harness to frame ground connector using the 6mm CDI box bolt

This means when you swap or disconnect the battery you dont have any

extra cables to fiddle with or forget

Yea, Honda's color code system is strange, in conventional electronics any +12V wire is red and any ground wire is black.
