Hi guys. I recently picked up an '80 CX500D as my first bike and have been lurking the forum ever since.
I was hoping to continue learning to ride while the weather was nice and put off major maintenance for over winter, but have developed starting/running issues. The bike became increasingly hard to start while cold, then while I had it out on a short ride it died on me and I haven't been able to get it to start since.
I'm pretty limited in my electrical knowledge but all the fuses are good, have spark on both plugs. I did some searching and found the stator test image, everything is in range except 9/5 tests as 348. From what I can find this means the low speed source coil is bad? Is there any fix for this other than replacing the stator? If I have to replace the stator, should I change out the CDI for an ignitech and upgrade the stator?

Thanks for any help
