I went for a nice long ride, bike started no problem, had to stop for juice, filled up, no go, the starter would not swing. I shorted the solenoid it swung over and started one go...do the solenoids also go off over time, switching part for the starter button? Next day I started her again, no probblem...

Yes they can be intermittent. Some people have managed to service them.

Wemoto do ship international if you want a brand new one which will most likely last another 30 years

Also if you haven't already change your main fuse holder. My present Bitsa CX would fail to start sometimes when I 1st built it due to the Main fuse and holder hence,

Latest....

Just finished cleaning up the connector blocks and checked all the wiring, the problem lay with the wiring so happly I don't have to replace the solenoid. Cleaned and sprayed Q20 (promotes electrical connection and displaces water) on the connectors, all working great..
