Hello to everyone, hope we are enjoying this wonderful sunday. I rode this morning as the temp was at 51 when i woke, think it pretty much topped out at 58 and & overcast skies, looks like thats how its staying. Anyway took her out on the highway & through the turns and curves of the backroads. She performed beautiful. that front end work made a big improvement including the tappet adjustment & the cam chain adjustment. still sounds like she got some tapping but i don't know never heard another cx running in real time and audio bytes from computer dont do any justice. however the ride was sweet everything beginning to bloom and weather warming up to me is always a blessing of rejoicing and new things to come. Well enjoy & be safe

It hit 75F here today and I talked my wife into going for a ride. It was real strange to be hot in the riding gear and look over at the lakes with ice still on them.

Half way home the sky got black there was thunder and lighting, but it didn't rain until 20 miles later right after I put the bike back in the garage.

I did 70 miles 2 up. Stubby might be riding now as the rain should be gone but will the heat make it over lake michigan. This morning I put on my gear to go to a local motorcycle group event and I was trying to go light but was cold. I had on a long shirt, tshirt, hoodie and jacket with liner an couldn't get warm in the apartment. Then I look over and Melody is taking her liner out of her jacket.

All I'm thinking is stupid girl what are you doing. Then she put on sunscreen. I went out to get the bike and was sweating by the time I hit the garage. Opened the garage door and the bike was pure white covered in condensation and cold. Just one up from frost. At that time it was 60+ and by the time we got where we were going it was 80 and we were taking off anything we could to keep from making a puddle. Got home and it was 86. Now that was an odd day.
