my speed odo worked well yesterdat this morning it wouldnt. i did here some squeeking noise at the front tire last night. i pulled the cable at the wheel when i did a lil peice of medal was sticking out where cable goes. it was working when i turned tires. what else could it be

could be a broken cable. Take it off at the back of the speedo and see if that end spins when you spin the other.
