OK... So a little more education for me tonight, if you guys will..... what kind of seat options were offered? I see one now and then that looks like a 2 person single seat with a plastic handle behind the second seat.. I like the look and was curious about it. I am not asking because I want to change my seat already, I like the look mine has... just curious.

I don't want to take/ copy his pic... but in the 'Members Bikes' section, dhoenisch has the seat I'm talking about. LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS!!!

No, it's a two-piece stock seat. The rear seat with the grab handle and the hard-to-find cowl removes to expose the took kit and some wires between it and the rear fender. Here's a larger picture of it.

can't see the pics here on this comp.... does it remove the same way my old one did? The latches in the back, and the 2 bolts for the front seat?

Yup, that's exactly it. The back removes in case you want the trunk there.



Mine used to be an Interstate model, but I wanted a cruiser, so I stripped it naked. I had both seats, plus the trunk extender for the full sized trunk. I had to locate the grab handle and the rear seat cowl though to complete it, both of which are hard to find. Now, I can swap the rear seat for the smaller trunk if I decide I need it. I don't like passengers on my bike, so I've been leaving the trunk on it when I used to ride it, though I like the look of the two seats much better.

I won't have any passengers... but I like the 2up seat look better too..... I just tell ppl that I don't want passengers ;-)
