Anyone in the market for an excellent shock upgrade?
I'd recommend the "2810" by Hagon Shocks.

My teammate and I were in search of a custom shock for our land speed race project (@Anderson Miller Racing); a blown 1979 Honda CX 500.
Based on some of the nuances in the rulebook, we needed a custom, reliable shock with the capability to adjust it for the varying surfaces raced on (salt, dirt, and concrete).

Without hesitation, Hagon was able to recommend and modify their 2810 shock for our program. The stock 2810 is a direct bolt on that offers 10 positions of damping and automatic rebound. Other than obtaining the stock shock, Hagon incorporated a different spring rate and shorter stroke.

They appear to be of high-quality material and certainly a competitive option to some of the leading shock companies.
We're scheduled to run the November (14th-15th) race at El Mirage (California) and will update the forum on the performance.

What shocks are you running?

Thanks for the tip on the shocks.

Cool bike for sure! Do you want to share any more info/pics about the bike?
