Did Hondaline ever make crash bars for the CX in '78? KD's were the best at the time, the first version offered came with a skid plate as part of the setup.
I hope you find a set more local to you, shipping to OZ and customs charges can get VERY expensive from the US, BTDT.

The Grub, when I bought it, had the style that fit closely around the cylinder heads. I think these were made specifically for the early Standards.
I never knew the brand. They used a similar offset as the Vetter fairing mount to reach around the plastic radiator trim, but I don't think they were Vetter guards. The finish on the hardware was different.
After I swapped in an '80 Custom radiator with metal trim, I started using the later style Hondaline guards.
