Yes, anyone that wants come by is welcome. A couple of weeks ago, Rick mentioned his wife might be coming too. Alas, he has now dashed those hopes, so I can't blame anyone for not showing up.

This isn't going to be a deep wrenching secession, just stem and wheel bearings, changing tires, adjusting valves, changing fork fluid, etc. If there is time we may install anti-friction muffler bearings, top off the turn signals with synthetic blinker fluid, re-align the turbo encapsulator, and add helium to the tires to decrease the weight of the bike to 200 lbs.

Pictures to follow.

Ouch. Count me out on this. 470 miles would be a stretch for a mild wrenching session. But I hope you guys have fun.

ha ha ha....you guys are crack ups for sure !

it's 6:15 Friday morning now.....guess I better get out there and finish polishing the carbs and bar controls...don't wanna embarrass myself with shotty looking aluminum.....it would be more than I could handle mentally ! LOL

Every time I go toe Blue's I learn something new so it's always worth it.....plus it prevents me from actually having to read a manual myself !

Looking forward to it ! Hope you others Missouri guys can make it too.

Hey Rick & Blue,

If you think of it, send me a PM or email with Blues address, I can punch it in the GPS. Should be about 75 miles from the hangar. Might run up for a while. And if you have a preference, let me know. I can ride up the 900 or the GL.

If you guys need anything, let me know.

Bandit...you are full of great ideas.....

I wonder if I'd get any funny looks from other motorists if I just pulled the riding mower BEHIND the bike down the highway ?.....I mean it's ONLY 60 miles.

LMAO

If I know Blue (and I have for about 50 years) by tomorrow he'll find a bike with a tree growing up through the spokes, cut the tree, throw the bike on the trailer to get it home, and with your guys' help have it running and the Honda emblems touched up and polished by 2 PM. Wish I could watch!

If you guys want to have a wrenching party in Southern California when the snow flies there, I know a place . . .

RB, I am in Columbia as I type this! Praise Bob for free wi-fi! Up here for the MS150 bike ride. I will be driving a van on the route to assist any bicyclists. I have Blue Fox's address and home phone number, so I will give you guys a call tomorrow afternoon and see how the progress is coming on your moto. If you're still hanging around about 5 ish I may be able to stop by directly. Hope all goes well with the repairs.

It's really cool when a group of us can meetup and have a wrench session. Don't have Maggie with me on this trip (I am driving a leasing company's {sponsor} 2010 Chevy van - it's just not the same as a CX!) Hope we can do this again, if not a wrench session, then a ride with our bikes. Did I mention that I like to find good road house/diner food?

Brian, I imagine we'll be done by 5, that sux that you're there in Columbia but I'll probably miss you.....I have my girls here for the weekend so I'd feel bad if I stayed in Columbia too awfully late today......however if we do miss you today I'd be up for a ride day sometime.....sounds good !
