Hi everyone, looking to konw if the rubber grommets in the side panels of a gl would fit in the side panels of my cx...

Cx grommets are 32112-611-000

Gl grommets are 83551-300-000



Would be simple to just go and order some new ones. Sure people will tell you about making them out of oil filter rubbers but buying the right grommet in the first place saves time. About $2 a piece.

Usually I can get the GL grommets at TAS. They don't have any listed right now but it doesn't mean they don't have them. Email them and ask. There direct store link is HERE.

Actually, the GL uses two different side cover grommets.



It uses one per side of the one Don listed - 83551-300-000

And, it uses two per side of 17247-303-000



Just did a quick spot check on an 82 custom at powersportspro.com and found that it uses the 17247-303-000. So, I guess you have to be more specific as to which CX you have

I ordered 4 new gromets from my local Honda dealer, they were $2 each. Worth it to get the right part since they are still available.
