I was changing the tire and rebuilding the front calipers. While installing the front tire the bolt broke. If I take the fork apart can I replace the bolt or am I looking at buying a new front fork? Any thoughts and help is greatly appreciated. I was so close to having it back on the road.

Hi
Good news
The stud is screwed in and can be replaced
Warm the leg with a heat gun before attempting the removal

Ok cool do I just go to the parts store for a new bolt or is it a special order?

Should I plan on rebuilding the fork when I take it apart?

Are you setting torque to the bolt diameter or the size of the socket?
