It wasn't me that figured out the mirror check to determine camchain wear/adjustment and I can't remember who that should be attributed to.

It was me who pointed out that chain slop can be determined from the slack rotation of the cooling fan on 500s.

I tend to remember the lesson, not the teacher.

I don't know how typical that is.

He has a few choices.

Ignitech from stock pulsers. Ignitech through one of Rays hall effect pickups and Rays ignition in either stock pulsers or hall.

Are there test numbers for the CDI system?
