Any tips on electric fan installs? Wire diagrams? Part numbers?

Anyone know how much space I have to work with before I start rubbing on the cam shaft end? I'd rather not have to grind it down.

The thing I am most interested in is the grinding of the cam end. If it needs to be done do I just hit it with my 4" angle?

It comes with mounting stuff, but I cannot find the amperage it uses. Anyone?

Picked up an '05 ZX6 fan for $4.99.

+$10 ship. Not bad. I'll be installing as soon as I receive it. (next weekend hopefully) pics and write up to follow in this thread.

Where did everyone get their switches? thermal switch is def. what I want but I don't wanna wait 3 weeks for the one from the bay!

got my fan installed on the rad this weekend. Just got my temp switch today. I will be installing Thursday evening.

I plan on using the 12v switched BLACK wire leading to the 7v regulator in the headlight bucket as a power source, and ground the frame.....
