There is a universal 8 inch fan on amazon. I'd link to it but I'm on my phone right now. Its only like 20 bucks. I think I linked to it in my still noisy thread

A little late on this, but the one from the bay looks like just this, but is 7" instead of 8" (and more expensive)

As for the switch, just use a toggle switch while you're waiting on a thermo switch to ship

Not sure I would use the rad fins as a heat source, since air movement would probably throw off the reading some, I'd bet.



Edit - and it looks like those switches are closed at low temp and opens at high temp. You need open at low temp and closed at high temp (unless you want to monkey with relays)

I have a 90-93 ZX6 fan on the way (too bad it's not the whole bike

) ... will report back once I get it on there. Currently with no fan, I have to avoid getting stuck in traffic
