Hey everyone, any useful hints at taking off/ putting on the front fender? I took mine off this weekend so i can get my fender painted but i hadto be real rough getting it off, real tight fight. I dont wanna get it painted just to scratch it up when i reinstall the fender....



Any help or tipswill be appreciated,

I found the fender is just a bit too tight to go in unscathed without ( I assume) taking the wheel off and loosening the fork tubes on my 82.... It has a ridged brace/mount under the fender for the mounting bosses and it's a flush fit.



the one time I had it off, I had a pretty bad fender so I just went the ugly route and sort of squeezed, twisted and crammed the thing back in place.





let us know what your experience is with this.... I have a replacement I'm not going to want to torture.
