Hi guys, I'm looking for a suggestion from you:

I'm going to replace my 40 years old rear shocks and I found a pair that i really love, but they are 350mm eye to eye (the standard one are 320mm).
How much do you think they would compromise the bike handling and comfort?

I know in race bikes even 3/4mm can make a big difference, but being my bike a "small trips" and "walk around" bike, would it be a big deal?

Thanks

SMOOKE

If you use softer or shortened springs so that the "sit in" height is not significantly different than stock you should be OK.

It means rear shocks absorber are easy to open (and change the springs)?

You will need s spring compressor tool so that you can take the top cap off and then the spring can be removed for replacement or modification.
