Is there a difference between CX500 custom, deluxe, and standard handlebars?

Yes. Customs are buckhorn bars are standard/deluxe are wider/taller similar to dirt bike bars.

If you check the part numbers they are different and looking at the diagrams it appears that the 78 bars are a bit higher than the 81 Deluxe.



I have never compared the 2 side by side but if these diagrams are correct, there does appear to be a difference.
