Possible valve problem? Leakdown or compression test?
Was this sudden onset or developed over time?
How does the bike run?

Was the backfire and puff of smoke a one time event or are you now getting regular puffing of air out of the left carb?

Ok guys this is what happened: when the bike back fired it blew the rubber boot off the carburetor that’s what was causing the air to puff out of the boot ! That simple thanks for all the suggestions they helped . Took a quick ride on the freeway got full acceleration bike performed well thank you all .
