Where are all of you getting your parts from? I am in need of rod bearings and a gasket kit. I went to the Honda dealership today and he was not able to order either of those. With me just starting this project I am sure I will be in need of some more things also. Thanks for your help.

I don't know about rod bearings, but you can order a gasket kit from www.partsnmore.com for just under $100. It's a neat site, and I've written them about creating a section for the CX/GL 500 to go with the plethora of other models. Even though there's no specific section, they do have some seals and parts. I've ordered stuff from them in the past when I had a 1982 Nighthawk, and they were really good to order from.

My Honda shop has served me well with NOS items time and time again. In fact most of my replacement parts on my cycle are NOS. I thought all Honda shops used the same search technique that had access to the same parts...?
