Would someone please do me a favor? Pop the trunk & bags off of your stock '82 GL500I, take a picture (as close up as you can & still get everything) of the luggage release latch assemblies, and post it? It's been years since I diassembled & bagged these up and the exploded views are making no sense to me at all. Some photos would be very helpful. Thanks, Dan

you are the best mate, Im going through the same as dan right now and will be putting my gl500 back together after its fresh paint and had actually broken one of those back clips on the luggage system.some much worth while information and on everything to do with the gl



if this is not the best lot of gl500i information I have seen then Im the POPE,in fact I reckon its the best lot of information I have ever seen for a bike related site.
