Quite possible that some have not heard of Phil Gilbert let alone his passing. He might be even considered one of the Originators and supporters of not only the CX Amish rally, but also the Venture into having this bulletin board as he was quite supportive back around the turn of the century. At different periods of times he would design and provide patches which some of us still have. And he and Gene McCall helped set the relaxed tone for the rally.

He passed on October 21, 2021 according to an online obituary. I didn’t know. He organized the first two HTTA rallys in Vt, then two (I think 2) at a KOA in Pa, then to Mountain View, the current location. R.I.P Phil.
