The issue is that i'm getting no gas when the petcock is on. It has two extra dimples besides the line for fuel. Are these petcocks vaccum fed? If so then can someone show a diagram of where the line for vaccum goes?

Thanks bunches guys

Petcock front nipple connects to the nipple on the engine side of the right carb, look inboard/top. This is the vacuum supply to open the valve. The rear petcock nipple is a drain/air inlet and will operate okay with no hose. Ideally, a hose from this leads below the engine and is left open at the lower end. A gentle vacuum applied (mouth, syringe, etc) to the front nipple hose should open the valve and start fuel flow.

I prefer to put slight pressure on the drain side to get the flow running. Avoids swallowing some gas if the diaphragm leaks. You can clamp down on the hose for a while to make sure you fill up the carbs before trying to start.

If you have such a valve, and it is meant for your model bike, then you were probably having problems with the right side carb sucking air through the vacuum plug/hose. Make sure it gets connected to the outside valve nipple.
