I am trying to get my ’82 GL500I into tip top shape. I did some searches and couldn’t find the answers to these questions (By the way, the 4 or more character limit on ALL words for the searches makes it near impossible to find what you need).



Can you help me verify these and answer my outstanding questions?

1) Replacing shifter oil seal.

Resolution: OIL SEAL (14X26X6) Part number 91251-ZW5-003



2) Oil change and filter.

Questions:

a) Can I use a Fram 6009 instead of a 6007 filter?

How many quarts of oil?

3) Brakes.

a) What front brakes do I purchase?

What rear drum brakes do I purchase?

c) Is there a how to on rear brake replaceing?
